Treatability study of effluents (for all major types of industries) – for improvement in treatment,
revamping, debottlenecking of treatment plants, cost reduction, implementation of cleaner production
technologies |
| |
Our studies focus on minimizing capital costs as well as operating costs for treatment of effluents.
We also make use of newer strategies like Prevention at source and Cleaner production
technology towards reduction in effluent generation and conservation of water resources. |
| |
Study for maximum reuse of water in the plant alongwith calculations for savings |
The study includes identifying waste water streams, which can be reused after treatment,
developing schemes for segregation of this streams from main stream, proper collection and
treatment facility, recycling routes etc. The study also provides an estimate of the cost of reusing
water into the plant and the savings gained through reuse of water. |
| |
Our clients have successfully obtained considerable savings through our studies for water reuse. |

Consultancy and Liasoning assistance for compliances of Environmental Act viz.
- Consents and Authorization of State Pollution Control board under Water Act, Air Act, and
Hazardous Waste (Management and Handling) Rules,
- No Objection Certificate from State Pollution Control Board
- Environmental Clearance from Ministry of Environment & Forests, New Delhi.
| |
We provide consultation and assistance to industries for complying with various statutory
requirements of the Environmental Act. It includes obtaining consents and NOC from Gujarat
Pollution Control Board as well as Environmental Clearance from the Ministry of Environment &
Forests (MoEF), New Delhi, starting from preparation of necessary documents and drawings to
follow-up in the proceedings by attending to queries and providing all necessary information and
support to the board or Ministry. |
| |
Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA) – Rapid & Comprehensive and Risk Assessment Studies |
We carry out EIA and Risk assessment studies as per the guidelines and formats of MoEF and GPCB
incorporating all necessary environmental aspects and risk scenarios using latest risk assessment softwares. |

Infrastructure and support system for Analytical services : |
We have a well-equipped analytical laboratory and all the necessary facilities for general and
specific analysis of raw materials, finished products, air, water effluents and hazardous solid
waste. |
We follow IS and APHA standards for testing procedures, and update our methods of analysis as
per new publications and amendments. At present we are capable of analyzing all major
parameters in accordance with the standard methods of IS and APHA. |
We have all necessary laboratory set-up viz. tiled laboratory work tables, laboratory chemicals,
glassware, equipment and instruments. |
Our instruments are from standard suppliers and regularly calibrated. |
In addition, other facilities include exhaust system for odour prevention, personal protective
equipment (gloves, gas mask, face shield etc.), sufficient area, adequate lighting, laboratory
furniture, separate instrument table, sand buckets, etc. |
We have a team of well-qualified chemists with ample experience and expertise in sampling and
analysis. |
We also provide external training to our chemists from time to time to upgrade their knowledge
w.r.t to new methods of analysis. |

Infrastructure and support system for Environmental Consultancy : |
Our team comprises of qualified engineers who have gained thorough knowledge in effluent
treatment, design of Effluent treatment plants, ETP operation, etc. This knowledge is coupled with
the expertise of senior professionals to enable to develop methods for pollution control and
prevention for various types of industries. |
We have laboratory scale effluent treatment modules for carrying out treatability of effluents. |
These include flocculation and coagulation tanks for primary treatment, aeration tank for
secondary treatment and mini beds of activated carbon and sand filter for tertiary treatment. The
sizing and hydraulics of ETP are designed based on the results obtained from this lab-scale
treatment. |
In addition to literature related to standards methods of analysis, we have developed a library of
books on environmental chemistry, waste water engineering, pollution control, Hazardous waste
management etc. |
We are life members of UPL Rotary library which is only 1 km from our office, and we utilize this
facility to continuously enrich our knowledge in these fields through regular reading of magazines
and latest books. We have internet connection at our office computers and are members of some
useful sites. |
